Your influence in others

Our influence to others

Today at the office we concluded a seminar of leadership and supervision for area’s chiefs. Our sales has going down for a second month in consecutive and when we try to find out what is going on, we found that it may be a lack of leadership.

Well, we ended the seminar with some activities and sharing with all. There where all people responsible for area, which has people under their command. The final activity was to write 3 notes and deliver to the people they want. I tried to avoid participating since I though being the CEO will influence their behaviour. At the end I was the person that received the longest list of notes.

I would like to include a phrase from a friend speaking of teachers: The good teacher teach, the better teacher makes you learn, the best teacher inspires!.

It makes me think about how you influence the people around you, especially when you have some POWER over their life, you can make them react, change, for good or for ban, you may INSPIRE them.

My conclusion of the seminar, is that as a BOSS I can not just deliver orders, I have the power to change people lives, and being conscious of that big responsibility, I have to be more careful of my course of actions and comments.

The same applies to your personal life as a father or older brother, as a teacher, etc.

What a big Responsibility!!!

I know I am probably the one that shows more from the family side, but the long separation has made a big scare on my life, where family things has became the must important things, actually I have to recognize that I have become a lot more sensitive on the personal side, yes more tears than I wanted to show . . .
